Local Workshops – Lithuania

As part of the DO Impact programme, three in-person workshops and one online will be held in Lithuania throughout 2025 and 2026, primarily organised by Lietuvos Socialinio Verslo Asociacija (LISVA), one of them together with the Social Entrepreneurship Association of Latvia (SEAL).

These sessions are tailored to Social Economy SMEs interested in enhancing their digital and data-driven capacities through practical learning and peer exchange. They will be hold in local language.

Past event: AI, analytics and digital tools for impact-driven organisations

Creative Workshop: From Artificial Intelligence to Social Impact

15:30-17:00 “AI, analytics and digital tools for impact-driven organisations” will be led by Tomas Labašauskas – an artificial intelligence enthusiast, founder of several digital ventures, and innovation developer.

17:00-17:30 “Goals, Leadership Motivation, and Development Factors of Social Mission Organizations in Northern Lithuania,” will be presented by Dr. Vilma Atkočiūnienė, a social scientist researching social innovations, social and community entrepreneurship, and consulting local community organizations on smart village development.

17:30-18:30 Questions, answers, networking.

Past event: Strategic digital transformation for impact-driven organisations

February 17 (14:00–16:00, Miesto laboratorija, Vilnius).

How to use artificial intelligence in communication and marketing?

This session focuses on strategic digital transformation for impact-driven organisations. Topics include: using AI for strategic communication planning and copywriting (e.g. with ChatGPT), transforming visual content into video, and practical AI solutions that increase visibility and communication effectiveness. The training will take place in person and will include hands-on exercises. Participants are recommended to bring a laptop

Past event: Resources for enhancing digitalisation knowledge-improvement of organizational capacity

Capacity building through video creation (Resources for enhancing digitalisation knowledge – improvement of organizational capacity).

Topics include: the structure of successful videos and maintaining audience attention, best practices in digital communication, and using video content as a tool to strengthen organisational image and impact.

Data collection and social impact measurement using AI tools

Online workshop together with Jurgita Ribinskaitė-Glatzer.

Jurgita Ribinskaitė-Glatzer is a social impact expert and an active member of Lithuanian civil society, with more than 20 years of experience working with non-governmental organizations and social enterprises both in Lithuania and abroad.

During the training, participants will learn about the main impact measurement methodologies and how to choose the most suitable one for their activities. Practical digital and AI tools will also be presented to help collect data more efficiently, analyze results, and visualize impact.

Analysing Social Economy trends, insights, and new opportunities: a sectoral deep dive

The first and second local workshops in Latvia consist of two in-person sessions held on August 1–2, 2025, in Ance.

The programme will explore two key topics:

  • Digitalisation strategy and data for good (Day 1)
  • Data collection and analytical capacity for advocacy and policy work (Day 2)

Both days will combine theoretical input with interactive, experience-sharing activities, supporting Social Economy SMEs in using data and digital tools for greater social impact.

Participants are free to choose which workshops they wish to attend.
