About
For us, innovation is about how new ideas—are used in real life: who benefits from them, who has control over them, and how they shape the way we work and organise.
We focus on ensuring that innovation supports people and communities, not just efficiency or profit. This means working with organisations that are experimenting with new social models including as well digital tools—whether that’s rethinking how platforms are governed, how data is managed responsibly, or how people can take a more active role in decision-making.
A big part of our work is helping social economy actors navigate change without losing their values. This includes exploring alternatives to dominant systems, supporting fair and ethical use of data and AI, and fostering collaboration between sectors such as culture, technology, and local communities. Digital tools play an important role here, but always as part of wider social innovation processes.
In simple terms, it’s about shaping innovation in a way that is transparent, fair, and useful in everyday situations—whether that’s running a cooperative platform, managing community data, strengthening local initiatives, or involving citizens more directly in decisions that affect them.
