About the project

RISE (Engaged Research in the Social Economy) aims to build the skills of social economy organisations (SEOs) to partner with research institutes, enabling more socially impactful projects through collaboration between researchers and communities. The project equips SEOs to navigate the research landscape strategically, enhancing benefits for their organisations and service users. It develops a tailored learning programme to create “research-ready” organisations across Europe, validates outputs through pilots and digital badges, and shares methodology and results via a publication, project website, blogs, podcasts, case studies, and an interactive map. RISE fosters networking, replication, and long-term sustainability of engaged research in the European social economy.
