DO Impact Capacity building

Final Conference and Transnational Workshop 8

July 7-8, 2026

On July 7 and 8, 2026 in Brussels, social economy enabling organisations joined the DO Impact Final Conference “Reimagining the Digital Future: Inclusive Innovation Beyond Technology Power Brokers” and 8th Transnational Workshop “Forward Planning with Data: Opportunities and Synergies”, a two-day event exploring how data-driven approaches and digital transformation can strengthen the European social economy.

During the first day, the conference focused on the role of the social economy in reshaping innovation beyond the logic of platform capitalism. Participants engages with EU policymakers, hear from industry leaders, and explore topics such as interoperability, sustainable digital infrastructures, and future cooperation networks. The day featured a policy roundtable on building a European data ecosystem for the social economy.

The second day was dedicated to the 8th Transnational Workshop “Forward Planning with Data: Opportunities and Synergies”. This closing workshop summarised the entire DO Impact learning journey, spanning digitalisation, open data, ethics, AI, impact measurement, and data storytelling. Workshop participants engaged in speed networking, collaborative group sessions on designing data space ecosystems, and an interactive workshop to develop their own tailored action roadmap for the next 2–3 years.

The event will close with a networking apéro to celebrate the journey and the connections built along the way.

Financial support is available for eligible participants. Read the call and apply untill 1 June at 12:00 CEST!
